Shona Green Opal "Leafhead Thinker" Sculpture

This lovely sculptureis hand carved and polished from a single piece of green opal stone by a master Shona artist.

The opal stone is beautifully patterened in light and darker green mottled with black.

The Shona believe that their ancestors live in the trees, hence the "leafhead" depiction.
