The greater kudu is considered by many to be the most handsome of the tragelaphine antelopes, which includes the bongo, eland, nyala, bushbuck and sitatunga. The lesser kudu is much smaller, only weighing about 230 pounds.

This lovely abstract sculpture is hand carved from a single piece of opal stone by a master Shona* artist.

The sculpture depicts a giraffe in abstract form.

The highly polished stone is beautifully colored and patterned in shades of green, brown and black.
