Shona Leopardrock "Torso" Sculpture

This extremely unique sculpture is hand carved from a single piece of leopardrock by master Shona artist, Armstrong Andrea.

This abstract sculpture, entitled "Torso" depicts a curvaceous woman's torso, with protruding belly, huge thighs and billowing derriere.

The leopardrock is wonderfully colored in shades of lime to moss green with black mottling and veins.

This is a piece you will want to caress! The contrast of the satiny smooth and roughness of the leopardrock beneath your fingertips as you explore the curves of this wonderful sculpture is an extremely sensual and tactile experience.
